With five decades of experience in the City of London, Terry Everson is a seasoned financial professional whose career has spanned regulatory leadership, trading, and compliance across multiple sectors – including Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Financials, and Fund Management.
Over the years, Terry has held senior positions such as Chief Executive Officer, MLRO, Head of Compliance, Dealing Director, Finance Officer, and Head of Operations, guiding firms through evolving market landscapes and complex regulatory change.
Known for his integrity, encyclopaedic industry knowledge, and approachable nature, Terry combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for mentoring the next generation. He believes professionalism and personality can coexist – and is often found sharing insights (and a bit of office banter) with his colleagues.
Outside of work, Terry is an avid tennis player and skier – having carved the slopes of Aspen, Gstaad, and St. Moritz, with hopefully a few more runs still ahead. In 2005, he completed the Inca Trail in Peru to raise funds for Maggie’s Cancer Care, a cause close to his heart.
Family means everything to Terry. He’s the proud father of James (a doctor) and Charlotte (an accountant), and a devoted grandfather to Sofia and Ruby.
