May Weng brings over a decade of international business experience and deep cross-border expertise to her role as Head of Asia at Vorto. Prior to joining the group, May spent 11 years with Sinochem, one of China’s leading conglomerates, where she developed a strong foundation in global trade, finance, and corporate relations.
As an active member of the China Chamber of Commerce in the UK, May has built an extensive network among UK-based Chinese corporations, investors, and intermediaries. She has successfully assisted numerous multinational companies and private clients in establishing and expanding their businesses in the UK and across Asia.
Throughout her career, May has worked closely with both UK and Chinese authorities, advising on complex cross-border transactions and facilitating inbound and outbound investment projects across the Far East.
A native Mandarin speaker fluent in English, May bridges cultures with professionalism, insight, and care. Her combination of precision, cultural fluency, and relationship-building makes her an invaluable link between Vorto and its Asian partners.
